Notice of Information Sharing among Group Companies
Aravest Pte. Ltd. (“Aravest”) always places the highest priority on the benefit and satisfaction of our valued customers and is strongly committed to providing high-value-added services and products. As a member of the SMFL group, we will leverage the strengths and expertise of our group companies to enhance the customer experience. To this end, we will share certain customer information, as described below, among certain companies within our group. We do not intend to use your information for any purposes other than those specified in this Notice. Additionally, the handling of all individual information shall be separately subject to our Privacy Policy as well as applicable laws and regulations. If do you not wish for your information to be shared with our group companies, you may notify us. Otherwise, by way of this Notice, it is deemed that you have consented to the provision and sharing of information among our group companies specified below. Regardless of the means of communication, the provided information will always be handled appropriately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including in any jurisdiction where such information is transferred and utilised.
- Scope of Information
Customer information expected to be shared among our group include:
- Names of customers, contact addresses, locations, and other corporate information.
- Financial data and other business information
- Information on individuals.

Information shall NOT be shared with Nikko Securities unless and until your written consent is obtained.
- Method of Information Transfer
Information will be shared by way of hand-to-hand transfers, encrypted email files, facsimile, and other secure ways. The actual method of information transfer will depend on the nature, size, and other relevant factors pertaining to the information.
- Information Management / Security
All such information will be managed and retained, as appropriate, in accordance with the relevant group companies’ policies and procedures, provided always that your information will be protected to the same standard and level that Aravest applies.
- Use of Information
The receiving group companies may use the information for the purpose of providing higher value-added services and products to the relevant customers. This may include, but shall not be limited to, the following:
- Analysing customer information to consider or determine more valuable services and products for the relevant customers.
- Proposing and introducing suitable services and products directly or in collaboration with Aravest
- Providing necessary management and administrative operations for the relevant customers on a group-wide basis
- Suspension of Information Sharing
Customers who do not agree to or wish to discontinue sharing their information should contact Aravest (contact details below) with their request.
Upon receiving any such request, Aravest will immediately stop sharing your information among our group companies. Information shared our group companies prior to such request shall continue to be managed appropriately in accordance with section 4 above.
Certain information, such as risk and compliance-related information, may continue to be shared among our group companies for governance and internal control purposes.
- Others
Aravest may enter into written agreements with customers to govern the disclosure and use of their information. In such cases, information will be used and shared in accordance with such agreements.
